Update from Masurai Valley, Jambi


Regarding our upcoming project titled 'Thank You for Loving Me', we would like to draw your attention to the recent updates of Masurai Valley case. Masurai Valley is located in Jambi province, Sumatra, Indonesia, and part of the Mount Kerinci Seblat National Park. Masurai is known for its age-old rainforest the 2,720m Climbing this mountain is an exhilarating experience and climbers are rewarded with the breath-taking sight of two volcanic lakes on reaching the top. Along the way are various wild animals and plants. 


Farmers of Masurai Valley is in conflict with the authority as the farmers who have been living there for ages, is being evicted. The forest use conflict in Masurai Valley has led to violence, is a manifestation of bad spatial planning bureaucracy.
